We often hear the words 'parenting doesn't come with a handbook' - but I tend to disagree. As someone who has navigated my own motherhood journey for 18 years, and spent most of those years also deeply searching for every book and insight into the experience, I can tell you - there are a LOT of books out there about parenting.
But what most parents and mothers REALLY need is a book about them.
A book that brings the focus back to how they are changing, how to make sense of what they're feeling, and how to honour this incredibly important but often ignored and overlooked role in our society - to be a mother.
And that is exactly what Rebecca has done for you right here.
Through three beautifully crafted sections - The Truth, The Change and Your Future You - Rebecca takes you on the transformative journey of Matrescence that I wish every single mother could undertake. She begins by shedding light on the realities of motherhood, dismantling myths like the 'perfect mother', and validating the tensions and guilt so many of us feel.
From there, she holds your hand as she offers practical tools to shift mindsets, embrace change and rediscover who you are amidst the juggle of daily life. And finally, she inspires you - to step into your power, align with your values and create a life you truly love.
I've known Rebecca for many years, and her commitment to this work is incredible. She has a deep and genuine desire to support mothers in reclaiming their confidence and joy. To every mother who picks up this book : you are in good hands with this book. As you turn these pages, allow yourself to embrace the truth, lean into the change and envision the future you deserve. This book is here to guide you every step of the way.
With love on your Matrescence journey,
